Equipment for measuring the thickness of the transparent polymer film, silicate or organic glass

Measurement of transparent and semitransparent polymer film, silicate or organic glass thickness  is based on the confocal sensors, and the sensors based on conoscopic holography.

The measurement is made by one sensor. When falling on the film (glass), the laser beam is reflected from the upper and lower limits. Difference of the measured values is the thickness of the film (glass).

The systems allows to measure  thin film (from 0.5 µm), stretch film, silicate and organic glass and other transparent and semitransparent materials.

The system has very high resolution up to 0.001 µm. Measurement speed 5 kHz - can control a fast moving sheet.

The sheet can be simultaneously measured by six (up to 6) sensors at different points with automatic synchronization of the measurement results.

The actual measurement accuracy and the type of installed sensor depends on the particular material.

Can you send us the samples of your products. Our experts will use laboratory bench to determine the most appropriate sensor and its operation mode and will recommend you a technical solution that can be implemented.
