Scope

Non-contact laser scanning of the profile of inner surface of the drilling rig stator.

Principle of operation

During the dynamic rotation of the measuring rod the laser beam is irradiated onto the inner surface of the stator and with the help of an optical system it is received by the photosensitive element.

The composition of the sensor

Measuring head, computing device board.

Main technical parameters

  • Maximum point measurement speed - 4000 Hz
  • Operating temperature range in models with a chip is  from 0 to 50 °C
  • Power supply - 9 VDC
  • Accuracy at measuring range up to 0.02 mm
  • Data output from the sensor RS-232, Ethernet

Visible or infrared laser is mounted in the sensor.
